Bizarre secret of Camilla’s YOUTHFUL skin revealed | Royal | News

The Duchess of Cornwall favours a strange facial technique involving bee stings, it is claimed.

Since just before her wedding to Prince Charles, Camilla is said to have been discreetly using a facemask containing bee-sting venom.

She is said to favour beauty therapist Deborah Mitchell, the owner of Heaven Skincare.

The company is known for using bee venom in some of its range.

But those products are not endorsed by the Soil Association – whose royal patron is Camilla’s husband and environmental enthusiast Prince Charles.

Campaigners warn extracting bee venom can damage populations of the insect, whose numbers have dwindled in recent years.

Jen Collins, beauty campaigns manager at the Soil Association, told the Sunday Times: “The use of bee venom is not consistent with organic principles.

“It is not permitted under the ‘Cosmos’ international organic and natural cosmetic standards, in which the Soil Association is a partner.

“There are collection methods available which claim not to harm the bees, but it is not clear whether the collection of venom could cause longer-term damage to their health or nervous systems.”

Ms Mitchell claims to have a huge number of celebrity clients alongside the Duchess, including actresses Emilia Fox and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Fans of the beauty technique have branded it the organic alternative to Botox.

And there have been persistent reports of Camilla using bee sting treatments and even having visits from the therapist over the years.

Her favourite is reportedly Ms Mitchell’s Heaven facial treatment, and she is said to splurge £165 on each session.

Camilla was even claimed to have urged the Duchess of Cambridge to use the range to keep her radiant complexion.

Royal sources deny Kate uses the beautician’s services.
